About Hollandsche Vaartochten Maatschappij B.V.

We are a company with five passenger vessels, each accommodating around 25 to 40 people (around 15 to 20 cabins). The vessels are mainly moored in Amsterdam’s Oosterdok, but also sail around Amsterdam and the surrounding area. If you join us, you’ll be given a duty roster so you can sail and moor the vessels. An important aspect of this role is that you’ll live on board in the skipper’s quarters (with a private kitchen, a studio and en-suite facilities).

Job description for passenger boat:

- 08.00: Prepare breakfast

- 08.30 – 10.00: Serve breakfast to guests

- 08.30 – 08.45: Administrative tasks

- 10.00 – 11.00: Cleaning the lounge / clearing away breakfast

- 11.00 – 13.30: Tidying the boat (cleaning rooms, cleaning toilets).

- 13.30: Take out the rubbish and leave envelopes (self-check-in system for guests)

Job:

- All year round

- 40-hour contract per week
